Education and Certification

We offer several training courses and a certification programme in Knowledge Asset Management through our partners the Programme Support Office. We provide training Globally, in a location to suit you. For individuals, we can also provide certification at one of our quarterly certification workshops in the UK.

For Senior Managers and Policy Makers

For senior managers and policy makers we can offer a standard 2 hour Knowledge Asset Management seminar, that provides an overview and challenge to senior managers charged with value creation. Delivered in an engaging style we show how, by thinking about value in a new way, senior managers can align their businesses with their strategic imperative to add value in a clear and systematic way.

This seminar can be delivered in house, or in an open forum and be quite generic or focused on a geography, industry or specific needs of an organization. Please contact us for more information.

For Departmental Teams and Practitioners

For those charged with delivering Knowledge Management and/or Knowledge Asset Management strategies and plans, we offer four levels of education:

New Thinking: Focused on particular topics such as technology, culture, process and strategy, we can run short education seminars to challenge assumptions, provide new thinking and create new direction. From a few hours to a full day, our New Thinking seminars are a good way to develop individuals and teams. We can provide this in house, in a public forum such as conferences or business events or as a guest lecturer at universities for MSc or MBA students.

Training: Focused on developing competence in Knowledge Asset Management, we can provide formal training in any aspect of Knowledge Asset Management, at any level from junior practitioner to departmental manager. Our courses can be tailored in terms of length and alignment to requirements from 1 day to 5 days.

Certification: For practitioners and teams that require to prove competence in Knowledge Asset Management, we provide a certification programme, based on our well established Knowledge Asset Management methodology. Certification involves a total of 5 days' learning, either consecutively, in stages or, optionally, online and provides an in-depth understanding of how to develop and implement a Knowledge Asset Management methodology. Well established and flexible, our prgramme can be tailored to suit your particular requirements or environment. In particular, it can be aligned with your internal competence management systems or an external vocational qualification.

Education: Moving beyond 'doing' Knowledge Asset Management, we have helped to develop learning programmes in 'synthesizing' Knowledge Asset Management strategy, through working with universities. We have worked with Cranfield, Singapore and Hull Universities and can provide accredited learning programmes that provide formal academic qualifications.

All of our education and training programmes can be aligned with internal competence assessment systems and/or external standards.
